Fijn dat de roodhemden Phan Fa Bridge hebben verlaten. Ze konden ook onmogelijk 2 plekken bezet houden want het aantal demonstranten is inmiddels gezakt tot minder dan 5000.Wouter_Udon schreef: The UDD leaders earlier announced that Phan Fa Bridge site would be abandoned and the red shirts would move en masse to Ratchaprasong intersection at 4pm to join their supporters aready camped there. Many red-shirts did not bother to wait that long.
Malls in the Ratchaprasong area which had reopened for business earlier were reported to be closing down again. The upscale Siam Paragon centre asked customers to move out of the premises and metal barriers were erected to prevent anyone entering.
Maar ja, in Rajprasong krijg je nu dit:
Rajprasong traders cry for help

Rajprasong traders association is now negotiating with the red-shirt leaders and the government about the damages to the businesses in the area if the red shirts continue to stage their protests for long term.
The association representative said that since the red shirts occupied the area 12 days ago, the businesses suffered damages to the tune of about 150 million baht a day. Hotels in the area have no guests. Shopping malls open for business but with few or no customers. Some shops in the area could not open for business at all.
An academic remarked that the government was constrained to help the Rajprasong businesses to directly compensate for their losses. The most the government could do is to ask banks to relax their collection of principals and interests of affected businesses.
